Get notified when a company posts a job

The best roles don't stay open long. Internal referrals and early applicants fill many before the job boards even notice — and the listings you see on aggregators are often hours to days behind the company's own careers page. If you're serious about specific companies, the careers page is the source of truth, and watching it beats refreshing LinkedIn. Here's how to do it without living in a browser tab.
Why the careers page is ahead of every job board
Most mid-size and large companies don't run their own careers-page software — they use an applicant tracking system (ATS) whose public board updates the moment a requisition is approved. The big ones:
- Greenhouse and Lever — the default for most venture-backed tech companies
- Ashby — the newer choice for a lot of startups
- Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee — common beyond pure tech
- Workday, Oracle, Eightfold — large enterprises; their boards are public even when the UX suggests otherwise
A role usually appears on the ATS board first; LinkedIn and Indeed then re-crawl, normalize, and deduplicate it on their own schedule. For a popular role, that gap can be the whole ballgame.
Your three options for alerts
1. Aggregator alerts (LinkedIn, Indeed)
Easy to set up, but you're watching a copy of a copy: delayed, sometimes incomplete, and ranked by recency or sponsored placement rather than fit for you.
2. Generic page-change monitors
Tools built for watching prices work on careers pages too, but they tell you that the page changed, not what changed — they fire on cosmetic edits and reposts, can't tell a backend role from a sales role, and can't rank anything against your background. You end up babysitting the alert.
3. A monitored digest ranked against your resume
This is the approach we built. Offerkin polls 200+ company career boards daily through their official APIs — the full list and its live health are public — then emails you only the new openings you haven't seen, each ranked against your resume with the fit reasons and the honest gaps spelled out. Each digest also names the likely hiring manager for your top new matches, with the evidence behind the guess.
How to set it up (three steps)
- Upload your resume — once. Ranking, gap analysis, and alerts all key off it.
- Save your search — role keywords and location become the standing query the monitor re-runs.
- Pick your cadence — weekly on the free plan, daily on Pro. Emails list only what's new; one click unsubscribes.
